The window as your first salesperson
How to turn your shop window into a year-round sales tool
A shop window is not just decoration: it is your first salesperson, available 24/7. Yet many retailers leave it static and lose a major growth lever. Here is how to turn your shopfront into a genuine customer magnet.
The hidden cost of a neglected window
Every week without a considered set design is passing footfall that does not stop. Those are potential customers who never learn you exist, and sales opportunities that vanish.
Waiting for a special occasion to invest in your image is rarely the most effective strategy: the best season to energise your shop is always now.

A commercial set design for every season
A window should not be a fixed element. It reflects how alive your business is and adapts to buying cycles to stay relevant:
- Spring : freshness, novelty and renewal to catch the eye.
- Summer : lightness, bright colours and an appeal to passing visitors.
- Back to school : a strong visual statement to mark the restart and launch your key moments.
- Winter : warmth, cocooning and the idea of the gift.
My approach: from creative strategy to installation
As a graphic designer and set designer, I do not simply decorate a shopfront. I build a real visual strategy for the point of sale: analysis of the space and the footfall, concept, fabrication of the elements, then installation. All you have to do is open your doors the next morning to a window that lands.

A real case: five windows for Biocoop Aix-les-Bains
For Biocoop Aix-les-Bains the goal went beyond decoration: it was about making the brand’s organic, local and human commitments visible and concrete. The “by the field, by hand” concept became an immersive, text-free staging where every element tells the journey of the product.
The build relies on a craft approach, with pieces made by hand to reinforce the authenticity of the project. The result: an original window, designed, produced and installed from start to finish, ready to land on opening day.
