Project background
Biocoop Aix-les-Bains wanted a window scenography able to carry the cooperative’s identity while catching the eye of passersby. The store has five windows along the same façade: five surfaces to treat as one whole, not as five separate displays.
The challenge: five windows, one story
The whole difficulty was coherence. Each window had to work on its own while fitting into an overall composition readable from the pavement across the street. I built a bespoke art direction, with a visual concept and a composition for each window, designed as chapters of a single story.
The concept: bringing living things back into the city
The creative idea was to bring the cycle of life and the agricultural origin of the products back into the urban space. In an environment that is often mineral and standardised, the store becomes a visual breath of fresh air: a place where time slows down and you reconnect with what matters.
The windows are no longer simple commercial displays but living landscapes, telling the whole chain of organic food: from the soil to the consumer, from the farmer’s work to everyday city life. Each window is a stage of this natural journey, discovered as you walk along the façade, celebrating the direct link between producer and consumer.
The result
The shop façade became a genuine visual communication tool: aesthetic, readable from the street and faithful to the cooperative’s values.
